So, today is the first official day of Spring! This is a beautiful but, somewhat cloudy day in Philadelphia. I am feeling like going out, playing with Auripra... (By the way, she is going to be 2 year old in less than a week time. Can't believe!), though it's not quite as warm as we are expecting. Still, it is finally spring and we are super-duper excited!
Therefore, I am going to share my first spring inspired nail-art tutorial with my beautiful friends here today. This nail-art illustrates first blossom of the season. So stay tuned. Smooches.

What I Used
The Tutorial
Step 1:
Start by removing any nail color you might have on your nails with a nail-polish remover.
Step 2:
Apply a base coat on all of your nails. Wait 10-15 minutes to let it dry.
Step 3:
Apply a medium opaque pink color (such as bubblegum pink). Apply it to make it true opaque; it needs 2-3 coats normally depending on the nail-polish you are using! Let it dry.
Step 4:
Using a gold art deco nail-polish (has a very thin and long brush) or using a long-thin synthetic brush and a regular gold nail-polish, draw a line towards top of the nails as shown in the picture below.
Step 5:
Using the regular brush of regular gold polish, fill up the smaller area you just marked with a gold line.
Step 6:
Design those flickering brunches using a hot pink art deco polish or using a thin brush and a regular hot pink polish.
Step 7:
If you have dotting tool, that's great; otherwise, use a toothpick (as I used) to create three white dots at the end of hot pink branches. These white dots are depicting daisies here.
Step 8:
Finally, coat everything with a clear top-coat and let it dry properly! That's it!!!
