Hi Beautiful!
Hope you had a great weekend. Here in USA, today is the "Labor day", so we are having a long weekend. YAY!!! Yesterday we went to a birthday party and I decided to dress up in traditional Indian attire. I thought it will be fun if I share my outfit and makeup here with you guys. And, you know what, I tried water marble nail art for the first time; the result is quite satisfying! what do you guys think?
In the party, I wore a saree (a traditional Indian outfit); therefore, the make up and accessories were chosen accordingly. I hope you will enjoy it. Let me know your inputs.
Saree: Material pure silk, zardosi work, hand sewn
Jewellery: Indian gold jewellery
Water marble nail art: Using Zoya nail polishes (will upload a tutorial and my experience of the process soon)
If you want to know anything else, just write to me in the comment area.
All the best.

Hello. Loved your nails here with your saree. Could you please list the polishes you used in the marbling and what base color you used? Thanks in advance. Sorry if I'm asking you to duplicate information you already put up but I couldn't find a later post on it.

Hello M Karamanis!
DeleteThanx for comment. I did not use any base color in this nail-art, only used clear base coat. The colors I used to do the water-marbling were Zoya ibiza, Zoya Raven, Zoya laney and Zoya Goldie. If you want to see the video of step by step tutorial of water-marbling process, please visit the following link:

Hello and thanks for the info. One last question - I noticed that there is a pink/purple color on your nails that isn't on your list of polishes. I know you posted these photos some time ago but could you identify this color? I really appreciate your response - this is the most beautiful marbling nail art I have seen. Thanks again.

Hi!
Deleteno problem and thank you for your compliment! the pink/purple color you see on the nails is actually the mixture of zoya ibiza and zoya raven. If you see swatches of those polishes online you will know. I added the polish drops on the water on the following order : ibiza-raven-and then sometime laney third and goldie forth and sometime goldie third and laney forth.
Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any further queries. FYI, if you want to let me know something quicker or want me to reply sooner please post your queries on my (thedocndiva) facebook page (facebook.com/thedocndiva) and another request, if you recreate this nail-art please post the picture on 'thedocndiva' facebook page. Would love to see those beautiful nails of yours. Thank you in advance!
